VI.16.17 Pompeii. Secondary entrance to shop, with storeroom, kitchen and latrine and door to atrium.

Linked to VI.16.15 and VI.16.16. Excavated 1903.

VI.16.17 Pompeii. May 2005. Entrance doorway, looking west.

According to NdS, this entrance led into room M, and then linked by room L into the whole house of VI.16.15.

The floor was of cocciopesto, the wall plaster was crude which showed remains of two overlapping plasters.
