This medallion was seen between two doorways on the west wall in the north-west corner of the atrium.

According to Epigraphic Database Roma It was found in VII.1.40, House of M. Caesius Blandus (or of Mars and Venus), in pieces 'some of which served for the edge of a door, and others spread on the floor of the peristyle' (aa. 1862-1868).
