VII.13.8 Pompeii. House of L. Caecilius Communis or House of M. Stronnius Favorinus.

You will note the names L. Caecili Communis and M. Stron Favor also appear on house VII.14.15.

Two separate bronze seals were found embossed with these names, although there seems to be some confusion over their actual find location.

He translated this as “Romula spent time here with Staphylos”.
