There are no mentions of any visits to Oplontis during 1972, in Wilhelmina’s book.

These photographs although dated 1972, may be from 1973.

In 1973, she wrote, “We found time for a quick visit to Oplontis with Fred and Jean Mayer, but our work there had to wait until the next year”.
